Rock N Roll Image of the Month (RRIM)

Interesting Individual of the Month (IIM)

Let’s start with a film quote we love:

“You can’t do it unless you imagine it!”
George Lucas

The Psycho Scale:

We use our Psycho Scale for film and TV series rating scores. Our Psycho Scale is 1-Psycho, with Psycho being the highest; 10. Mykal and I watch all scored films and TV series; drawing from decades of real viewing experience.

Film

Wow! When reflecting on the movies I consumed in the month of May I’m blown away by the volume. Truth be told, I always watch the movies listed all the way through unless otherwise noted. I do not believe in fast forwarding, pausing or rewinding a movie. I do my best to watch each film as if I’m in the theatre watching it. No phone, no lights, no restroom breaks. I need to do a better job of adding popcorn to this process and will do so in the coming month. Film, movies are such an incredible experience! In the troubled times we are in, an escape along with the digestion of creativity, they are simply the great escape!

Movies

Gamer 2009 - Zach Snyder directed, the film lost almost $15 million.  Not my cup of tea but entertaining. Mykal - 5 Me - 4

Hardcore Henry 2016 – interesting rewatch, I always liked this film even though many did not. The POV element is a trip! 6

Spider-Man 2002 – This film is on the Mount Rushmore of super hero movies. 8.5

American Graffiti 1973 – A hidden gem for younger folks, this nostalgic piece spawned Happy Days to a degree and introduced us to Harrison Ford! 7

The Curse of Frankenstein 1957 –Hammer Films nailed this one! 6

Revenge of the Sith – 2005 – We did a rewatch at the theater recently for this one, and it is really one of the best Star Wars films! 7

Mission Impossible 1996 - Directed by Brian DePalma?! One of the best of the series, so interesting DePalma directed this as it was out of his wheelhouse. 7

Tony UK Uncut 2009 - 1 – Unwatchable, this film is putrid

Grinders 2011 - 1 - Horrible! This feature is abysmal

Drive Back 2024 - 5 - Oddly entertaining & repetitive, very much like the film Dead End

Rob1n 2025 - 1 - Horrible film, sitting there twiddling my thumbs I could not believe I made it through the entire film

Hell of a Summer 2023 – 5 – creative, lots of slasher tropes. Worth a watch for 80s horror fans

Dead Star 2024 – 3 – Another cookie cutter horror film better left on the cutting room floor

Dead Mail 2024 – 3 – Barely watchable, I hung in there but can’t recommend

Drop 2025 – 5 – This film was entertaining but the continuity and unrealistic elements overwhelm

Becoming Led Zeppelin 2024 – 7 – For fans of so-called classic rock, and of course Led fans this is a well-done documentary that transports us back to the late 60s and into the 70s

The Accountant 2016 - 7.5 – this is a hidden gem that I have touted over the last couple of years. A great watch!

The Accountant 2 2025 - 2.5 – This remake is the opposite of what the bullshit commercials and advertising state. Skip this piece of trash! (If watched right after the first one, you will run for the hills)

Mouse of Horrors 2025 – 1 – Another horror film that tries to capitalize on the public domain element. Terrible from beginning to end, acting, story and cast!

American Psycho 2000 – 7.5 – A tried and true favorite that captures the gross excesses of the 1980s. Bale is incredible, great cast and dialogue! The ending fizzles.

Vertigo 1958 – 6 – One of my least favorite Hitchcock films. Mykal and I talked about this recently and determined James Stewart, in these kinds of films was overrated.

Borderline 2025 – 5 – This film has Samara Weaving in it, which is always a plus. The story is ludicrous and the second half of the film reminds me of pissing down my leg.

North by Northwest 1959 both of us 9.5!  This is a film that I have always adored. Mykal recently watched it and agreed with the 9.5 score! Cary Grant was perfect with Hitchcock running the show! Great story, cast and cinematography! There are some great behind the scenes videos about this film. Watch the movie before you check those out!

Mykal’s May Watches:

Dial M for Murder – 8 – Dug Hitchcock’s style!

Vertigo – 8 – Enjoyed this film, watching for the first time

House of Darkness – 7 – A long time Justin Long fan, was entertained by this quirky film

Knock Knock - 7.5 – Mykal always made fun of me for liking this Eli Roth film so much! Keanu Reeves stars in this wild home invasion style film. A must watch for horror fans! Think John Wick meets the Strangers!

Classic movie feedback from Mykal:

House of Frankenstein 1944 - Scale and scope was huge. Costume design was excellent. Set pieces were brilliant. What was awesome was the grand scope of the idea of the film. Mykal’s score or this classic movie is an 8. I appreciate the elements he calls out, but the actors fell flat as assigned. I give it a 4!

Some TV

Here are some TV series we have recently watched and scored including a few documentaries:

Better Call Saul last season- 2022 - 9.5 each of us – This was such a treat for me to watch with Mykal! We had delayed watching it for so long for a number of reasons! Smart. Edgy. Thought provoking. An incredible last season to a series that outshines Breaking Bad!

YOU last season 2025 - 5 – This stretched out and petered out at the same time! Barely entertaining

The Patient 2022 - One season. Mykal – 8 – Mykal watched this interesting and dark one season series starring Steve Carrell; this is not his Office!

Ash vs Evil Dead 2015 – 7 – I rewatched this over the top, campy and gory series. We love Bruce Campbell. It gets heavy handed, and watered down but hell Sam Raimi and crew make it bloody good fun!

Untold: The Fall of Brett Favre – 2025 – 5 – This documentary doesn’t reveal anything new if you have followed the headlines with the unsavory Favre. It focuses on Jenn Sterger, and of course she is part of the negative story, the problem is it is too much of her and not enough Favre. The Fall of Jenn Sterger could be a subtitle. Favre was an incredible quarterback, one of the best to ever put his feet on the hallowed grass of Lambeau Field! I have never been a fanboy of the sports teams I follow nor film industry stars. I realize that great entertainers can be very bad people. Funny enough, none of this was untold!

Creature Feature: 60 years of the Gill Man – 2024 –3 - Oddly enough another documentary! Mykal and I watched this due to our love of The Creature from the Black Lagoon film. It is low budget and focuses far too much on the so-called collectors and fan boys as opposed to digging into the classic film and its sequels more. Disappointing and stale delivery of the content for a documentary! Documentaries need a revival with a different tone and pace!

More revisits:

Severance Season Two ended with a roar, with one of the more memorable endings to a TV series season! The show is a must watch for anyone that digs sci-fi drama and outstanding cast and smart dialogue and story.  All episodes in Season 2 came in with a Psycho rating of 9 with the last episode of Season 2 being a 10!

Daredevil Born Again, four episodes in we are done with this show. We really enjoyed the original series and line up. This recent iteration is abyssal. All four episodes came in at a 1 on our Psycho Scale! No more for this show, shutting it down on this end.

The Righteous Gemstones final season is gross, boring and fun. Hard to combine all those elements into one outrageous show. Danny McBride’s take on the religious crazies out there making money hand over fist from desperate followers!  Psycho Scale – 5

Your Friends and Neighbors with Jon Hamm is entertaining. Hamm’s main character seems to borrow from Don Draper and his feature film portrayal of Fletch. The show has a stellar cast, smart and biting writing and an interesting Breaking Bad like element. Through five episodes the Psycho Scale comes in at an 8.

The Shrink Next Door. Mykal suggested this twisted comedy which is more of a drama. Stars Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd. It is sad and awkward but also entertaining. Based on true events surrounding a sick and twisted shrink! Mykal’s Psycho Score is an 8 and I come in at a 6. Worth a watch.

The Patient with Steve Carrell is unique in its limited one season run as well as seeing Steve display his dramatic acting chops. This is totally worth a watch, it is dark and depressing but well written with a great cast and depth. My Psycho Score is 7.

Better Call Saul – We are two episodes away from finishing one of our favorite TV series of all time! We are giving this season an 8 plus! We wanted to watch it together and it took many unfortunate events for us to find the time and space. The show is beyond smart, amazing cast top to bottom, beautiful cinematography and sensical dialogue.

Music

In the rock and roll universe there was some interesting new releases in May. Let’s see what we heard:

New Music:

Billy Idol’s single 2025 - 2 - Vanilla at best. I came up listening to early Idol in the 1980s. My son’s mother and I wore out the album Whiplash Smile by Billy in 1986. We played White Wedding at our wedding! This song was flat and old. Sorry Mr. Idol!

Peal Jam released an EP that I am still listening to. The Last of Us – 2025 – 6 – I know I have to listen to this disc more to truly understand how much I like it. I was a huge Pearl Jam fan in the 90s. This EP contains 4 tracks with a runtime of 19 minutes. A worthwhile listen to those fans of the grunge era.

Pop Evil Don’t You (Forget About Me) 2025 single. 4 minutes. We are familiar with this 90’s group that had an edgy and eclectic sound. This remake of Simple Minds 80’s pop classic is different, unique and meh.

Recommendations:

Creed gets a bad rap from many. Mykal and I dig this rock group and suggest their album My Own Prison (1997). Human Clay (1999) rocks as well. Let’s not forget one of the best rock songs made for a feature film: Scream 3’s What If! Creed as a group is an 8!

Alice In Chains Sap - EP –1992 – this is a 10! 4 tracks. 16 minutes.

4 tracks. 16 minutes.

That EP is wild, 4 songs. With one of my favorite rock songs of all time, in my top 10 - Got Me Wrong. To hear Cornell’s vocals on that track is hauntingly beautiful.

Oddly, Ann Wilson from the chick rock group Heart (formed in Seattle in the early 1970s) shared her excellent vocals as well.

That specific song Right Turn is so poetic. Beautiful. Such a powerful and heartbreaking tune. Lane Stanley was not long for this world, his music was beautiful, dark and telling. RIP.

Music from Ash vs Evil Dead 2015 - The music from this far out series is a mix of pop and classic rock – for sure worth a listen! Reach out if you would like that playlist!

Retro Talk:

Led Zeppelin. I have been revisiting this amazing rock group from the late 1960s and into the 1970s. So many of their core songs were overplayed where I grew up listening to terrestrial radio. I’m remembering how amazing this classic and ground breaking group truly was! The vocals of Robert Plant, the amazing lead guitar mastering of Jimmy Page along with John Paul Jones and his unwavering bass work! Let’s not forget one of the greatest rock drummers of all time, the thunderous John Bonham. (RIP) If you listen to the mighty Zep’s album catalog you will find no song is the same. They were truly one of a kind and a tight knit group. When their drummer, friend and family member John Bonham died in 1980, the group announced that was the end of Led Zeppelin. On a random side note, my good friend and I were going to drive down to Chicago from Milwaukee in 1980 to acquire tickets for the Led Zeppelin show in Chicago, sadly that was never meant to be. Shout out to one of the greatest groups of all time! Over the Hills and Far Away!

Long live rock and roll!  Mykal and I are looking forward to the Nine Inch Nail’s concert later this year! Broken record time!

We are refraining from dropping anymore playlists. If you are ever in need of great play lists and you have Spotify, hit us up and we’ll be happy to share!

Rock N Roll baby! Mykal and I use Spotify Premium.

Rock and Roll Image of the Month! (RRIM)

This month’s image is of the English guitarist Jimmy Page. Page is the founding member of Led Zeppelin! Page is considered one of the greatest and most influential guitarists of all time!

Some Wellness

This article brought to us by Johns Hopkins Medicine

The Power of Positive Thinking

Aging Well Age-Related Depression, Mood and Stress Maintaining a Healthy Mind as You Age

Here’s heartwarming news: People with a family history of heart disease who also had a positive outlook were one-third less likely to have a heart attack or other cardiovascular event within five to 25 years than those with a more negative outlook.

That’s the finding from Johns Hopkins expert Lisa R. Yanek, M.P.H., and her colleagues. The finding held even in people with family history who had the most risk factors for coronary artery disease, and positive people from the general population were 13 percent less likely than their negative counterparts to have a heart attack or other coronary event.

Yanek and her team determined “positive” versus “negative” outlook using a survey tool that assesses a person’s cheerfulness, energy level, anxiety levels and satisfaction with health and overall life. But you don’t need a survey to assess your own positivity, says Yanek. “I think people tend to know how they are.”

Hope and Your Heart

The mechanism for the connection between health and positivity remains murky, but researchers suspect that people who are more positive may be better protected against the inflammatory damage of stress. Another possibility is that hope and positivity help people make better health and life decisions and focus more on long-term goals. Studies also find that negative emotions can weaken immune response.

What is clear, however, is that there is definitely a strong link between “positivity” and health. Additional studies have found that a positive attitude improves outcomes and life satisfaction across a spectrum of conditions—including traumatic brain injury, stroke and brain tumors.

Can You Boost Your Bright Side?

Although a positive personality is something we’re born with and not something we can inherently change, Yanek says, there are steps you can take to improve your outlook and reduce your risk of cardiovascular disease.

Simply smile more.

A University of Kansas study found that smiling—even fake smiling—reduces heart rate and blood pressure during stressful situations. So try a few minutes of YouTube humor therapy when you’re stomping your feet waiting in line or fuming over a work or family situation. It’s difficult not to smile while watching a favorite funny video.

Practice reframing.

Instead of stressing about a traffic jam, for instance, appreciate the fact that you can afford a car and get to spend a few extra minutes listening to music or the news, accepting that there is absolutely nothing you can do about the traffic.

Build resiliency.

Resiliency is the ability to adapt to stressful and/or negative situations and losses. Experts recommend these key ways to build yours:

  • Maintain good relationships with family and friends.

  • Accept that change is a part of life.

  • Take action on problems rather than just hoping they disappear or waiting for them to resolve themselves.

This special guest article speaks to aging. Wellness is for all ages!

Sixty and Still Kicking - Aging Article – Lisa Farlinger 5.16.25

By the time Karen hit 60, she had already survived disco, dial-up internet, and three

decades of PTA meetings. She thought aging would be graceful—like a swan gliding

across a lake. Instead, it’s more like a swan with a bad hip and a vendetta against

gravity.

Her mornings began with a symphony of snaps, crackles, and pops—and not the cereal

kind. Every joint had its own opinion, and none of them were polite. Her knees sounded

like bubble wrap, her back had more knots than a sailor’s handbook, and her left

shoulder clicked like a metronome set to slow descent into chaos.

Karen used to run marathons. Now she runs out of breath tying her shoes. She’s

developed a passionate relationship with her heating pad, and her idea of a wild night

involves ibuprofen and a documentary about ancient Egypt.

But don’t be fooled—at 60, she was NOT slowing down. She was just re-calibrating. Her

social calendar is packed with book clubs, wine nights, and the occasional “accidental”

nap that lasts four hours. She learned to embrace the power of saying no, especially

to things like uncomfortable shoes, unsolicited opinions, and anything that starts after 8.

Her kids call her spicy. Her grandkids think she’s a wizard. And her doctor just calls

her interesting. Sure, she’s got more skin tags than she has patience, and her memory

is like Swiss cheese—but Karen may be in her 60s, but she’s not going quietly. She’s

going loudly, with glitter, sarcasm, and a purse full of hard candies and vengeance.

Now enter another birthday; Karen turned 62 with the grace of a cat falling off a

windowsill—dignity intact, but only just. She had imagined this decade would be filled

with peaceful mornings, yoga, and maybe a little gardening. Instead, she found herself

in a daily battle with her own body, technology, and the mysterious disappearance of her

eyebrows.

Her first sign of aging wasn’t the gray hair-it was the sudden, inexplicable need to make

sound effects when sitting down. Every chair now requires a grunt, a sigh, or a

whispered dear God. Getting up is a two-step process: physical effort followed by a

moment of reflection on whether it was worth it.

Karen’s body has become a haunted house. Her knees creak like floorboards in a

horror movie. Her back pops like microwave popcorn. And her digestive system has

started playing Russian roulette with dairy. One morning, she sneezed and threw out

her neck. Another time, she laughed too hard at a cat video and pulled a muscle in her

ribcage. I used to bounce back, she muttered, applying a heating pad to her entire left

side. Now I just bounce and then ice it.

Her phone has become her nemesis. She accidentally sent a thumbs-up emoji to her

gynecologist. She now lives in fear of group texts, autocorrect, and FaceTime calls that

start with her chin and end with her ceiling fan. But Karen isn’t going down without a

fight. She joined a Zumba class, where she’s the only one who brings a flask. She

started fixing up her friends to start dating again, briefly, until they realized most men

their age either wanted a nurse or a notary. Her grandkids think she’s hilarious.

Grandma says Hell when she drops things, her youngest whispered reverently. And

she has a sword in her closet. (It’s true. It’s decorative. Mostly.)

She’s developed a fondness for naps, orthopedic shoes, and yelling I’m not dead yet!

when someone offers her a senior discount. Her hobbies now include rearranging her

pill organizer, judging people’s grocery carts, and pretending she knows how to use

TikTok.

Karen may be older, but she’s not obsolete. She’s just seasoned—like a cast iron skillet

or a pirate. She’s got stories, scars, and a suspicious mole she’s keeping an eye on.

She’s earned every wrinkle, every laugh line, and every story that starts with, back in

my day…

And if you ask her how she’s doing, she’ll smile, crack her neck, and say: Still vertical.

Still sarcastic. Still fabulous.  Thanks for contributing Lisa!

Commentary

We decided to maintain our newsletter for a while longer before we transition it to A Psycho’s Blog. Life comes at you fast, and sometimes it’s valuable to step back, take a deep breath and pump the goddamn brakes!

My share this month is about stardom. Celebrity. Sports stars. Fandom. And Fanboys and Fangirls. In watching the Brett Favre documentary the other night, it hit me like a cold fish how I never bought into the whole putting celebrities and sports stars on a pedestal piece.

This bleeds into seeing fans go crazy every time a TV camera flashed their way, or people going to insane lengths to garner an autograph.

To each his own, I get it. The thing is putting those so-called stars in God-like status can only be a detriment. These celebrities, sports stars and other flash in the pan stars are people. They are human. They have flaws. Some are good people off the stage, off the screen and off the fields and courts. Some are bad people, very bad people that take advantage of others based on the fandom. I watch football and basketball because I love the game. The sport. The competition. I don’t revere those athletes, and I don’t consider how much money they make. It’s about the sport. The teamwork. Same for actors, directors and other famous people in the movie industry. I love film, it transports me and I appreciate the creativity! I don’t look upon those individuals with high regard, they are people just like us, for the most part. We can see how many monsters there have been and will be in these spot lighted fields. I challenge anyone who looks upon these famous people in any other light than respect for their talents. The world is an all-consuming place if we let it be, the world can be a beautiful place. To escape with the game on a Sunday, or go to the theatre and enjoy two hours of forget all the bullshit, is valuable and priceless. To think that fame cures all evils is a huge mistake, there is darkness in all endeavors. The light is bright for those that are kind and good to one another. Let’s be cool to all! My hero? My son Mykal!

Grave Thoughts NEW

This is a new topic area for The Sprinkler. This will be stories of the morbid and macabre! This section will be gross and gory to go along with the theme of our favorite kind of movies – horror! There will be shares of old and new stories to include mysteries, murders and serial killers. What makes so-called humans’ prey on one another? People are fascinated by these topics, similar to the way many people slow down to observe a gruesome car accident. Oddly enough, I have a lot of knowledge in this area due to it being one of the rare topics my parents actually talked to me about. No wonder why I turned out so weird! Interesting note, I don’t follow the morbid and macabre as many might think. I don’t gravitate to the reality TV series about murder and mayhem. I think due to Mykal and I using our creative skills to recreate heinous acts in our stories it eliminates any desire to seek these stories out. We will share 3-5 stories each month that fall into this category. For this month’s kick off I’m going to do a simple list off the top of my head regarding horrible stories in our history, moving forward there will be more substance and specifics regarding the selected topics.

Let’s get bloody!

My earliest recollection of morbid stories was Ed Gein. The so-called Butcher of Plainfield. About 150 miles north of Milwaukee, Plainfield was the home of the notorious Ed Gein. This incorrectly labeled serial killer was a complete madman! He killed his mother, possibly his brother as well as one other woman. His most common practice was to rob graves of their corpses and bring them back to his run-down farm. When the police finally decided to check on old Ed, they found a woman dressed like a hunter would a deer hanging in his barn. Ed’s escapades were parlayed into many books and movies including the infamous Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Another monster my parents would talk about was Ted Bundy. This high IQ weirdo and monster was splashed all over the headlines for so many years. Ted eventually confessed to 30 murders of young women in the 1970s. The authorities are suspect of that number and feel it is considerably higher. Bundy represented himself during his trial which became more of a circus. His most common method for luring in young women was to fake an injury and ask for help. This is portrayed to a degree in Silence of the Lambs.

Lastly, for this virgin topic there is Jeffrey Dahmer. Accused of killing 17 men and boys in Milwaukee Wisconsin. This story has so many horrific details that it is hard to swallow when reviewing those specifics. Oddly enough, as my son’s mother and I were preparing for a huge life change Dahmer was on killing spree. My son’s mother and I would go to the downtown Milwaukee Public Library. This was pre-internet and naturally pre-Google. We would drive down the main street from our Wauwatosa home to go through the newspapers of the cities we were deciding to move to. Wisconsin Avenue was the main street we would drive down to reach the main library. My son’s mother and I were unaware as we passed North 25th street that Jeffrey Dahmer was killing, cannibalizing and keeping souvenirs of his deplorable crimes just a few blocks away. We didn’t know anything about the crimes until we settled into our new digs in Phoenix. The connection and timing sent chills down both of our spines.

There will be tales of past and present in our next Sprinkler, in our Grave Thoughts area. Stay safe everyone and leave a light on!

Peculiar Headlines

Let’s get to some weird and interesting stuff!

-       American tourist impaled on a fence at Roman Colosseum while taking a photo!  Another mishap when someone is trying to take a picture! The 47-year-old American lost a lot of blood but is recovering in the hospital. Dumbass!

-       US has approved CRISPR pigs for food. These are pigs that have come from the result of gene editing by a British company. The gene editing makes the pigs immune to many of the common virus’s pigs can contract. Squeal with me!

-       The US is ending the penny! After almost a two century run the penny will be no more. The treasury department will stop putting new pennies into circulation early next year. Retailers will have to round up or down. A penny saved is worthless?

-       An ex-Harvard medical school morgue manager admits his role in the theft of human remains. The 57-year-old stated the thefts occurred from 2018 to 2020. The body parts stolen included hands, feet and heads. Sicko!

-       Loose kangaroo keeps police hopping, again in Colorado. Irwin the kangaroo has been on the loose before and as he grows catching him is getting more challenging! Did the cops have to frisk his pouch?

-       Birdman leaves guests attending the Cannes Film Festival squawking! A man appeared in a full bird costume on the Cannes red carpet displaying quite a contrast from the formally dressed attendees!  The stunt was to promote I Love Peru; a documentary. He sure ruffled a lot of feathers!

-       Police are investigating the disappearance of Melania Trump’s statue in her native Slovenia. Slovenia police stated the statue of the US First Lady was sawed off at the base and taken away. The buzz is the statue was melted down and made into bronze silverware!

-       Another Cannes headline, it’s official no nudity on the red carpet at the 78th Cannes Film Festival! Nudity was never promoted, but it happened far too often according to the stuffed shirts on the festival’s management board! Boobs are Banned!

-       Shall I go nameless? Liam and Olivia as top baby names in the US, sixth year in a row! The social security department tracks this unique stat yearly. I’m sorry, but the greatest male name is still Michael / Mykal! Meaning Godlike!

-       I don’t mean to be sheepish about this story, but New Zealand still has more sheep than people! It appears that humans are catching up! New Zealand has 23.6 million sheep and 5.3 million people. How do they do math in New Zealand? How is that catching up? So many jokes, I will simply count my sheep and sleep!

Interesting individual of the month [IIM]

This month’s interesting individual is Jon Hamm

Jon or Jonathan Hamm is his birth name. He was born and raised in and around the St. Louis area. His parents divorced when we he was very young. His mother passed when Jon was just a little kid at the time. His dad raised him after his mother’s passing. His father died when Jon was 20. Jon was raised Catholic and this may have served him well in his titular role in Mad Men.

Donald Draper is the role Jon was once best known for. Jon has branched out into feature films as well as very unique roles in TV series. He shows incredible range, and his good looks are not a hindrance given his acting chops. Hamm is married and has no children. Jon has shown to be a New York Knicks fan. I think what makes him so interesting is his varying roles since killing it as Don Draper and as an Emmy winner for that role. He has done big films, small films as well as unique TV series including Black Mirror. His portrayal of Irwin Flecther or Fletch in Confess Fletch makes Chevy Chase’s stint as Fletch seem like amateur hour.

Jan Hamm’s latest project is the TV series Your Friends and Neighbors. This Apple TV series is very different than one might expect and Hamm pulls it off perfectly!

Nothing can touch Jon Hamm as Don Draper, possibly one of the best character portrayals on the small screen! You Mad Man! Jon Hamm is far more interesting than the article I wrote, my apologies!
